Fort Pierce Downtown Master Plan

Fort Pierce has a rich history in agriculture and deep-sea fishing. In sharp contrast to the rapid and dense population growth experiences in communities further south, the City has maintained its small-town character. Inspire was hired by the City to develop a Strategic Master Plan that would promote high-quality redevelopment that is in line with the City’s history, character, and high standard of living. The project commenced with an interactive project website to garner public input and provide updates. Additionally, Inspire hosted a four-day design workshop that included public open houses, presentations, and targeted stakeholder engagement. The Plan is focused on implementation and seeks to leverage an abundance of City-owned waterfront property, to promote a vibrant and walkable mixed-use district.
