Planner
Entry Level
Location: Choose from Tampa, Orlando, or Miami offices
Do you have a passion for creating great places, safe streets, and thriving communities? Inspire is an interdisciplinary collective of landscape architects, planners, and designers in support of public and private sector projects throughout the Southeast. We recruit top talent and are currently seeking an entry level Planner to join our Placemaking team in one of our Florida offices.
The successful candidate will work cooperatively with other planning and design professionals; day-to-day activities will include research, writing, plan development, mapping, public meeting facilitation and presentations.
Our Planning team has a particular focus on the following project types:

Land Development and Form-based Codes

CRA/Redevelopment Planning

Downtown Master Plans

Complete Streets
Qualifications:
-
A commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and Placemaking;
-
A Bachelor's degree in Planning or related field is required; Master’s preferred
-
Well organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work and meet deadlines;
-
Candidate will have excellent communication skills, including written, oral and listening, with good interpersonal skills, as well as ability to work and interface well in a collaborative project team environment;
-
Ability to interact positively and effectively with people in all levels of organizations.

Landscape Architect
Studio Leader
Minimum 8 years of experience
Licensure in the State of Florida
Location: Orlando and Tampa, FL

Inspire is an interdisciplinary collective of landscape architects, planners, and designers in support of public and private sector projects throughout the Southeast.
Our Landscape Architecture team has a particular focus on the following project types:

Civic Parks, Plazas, and Trails

Complete Streetscapes

Signage & Wayfinding
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of site analysis, site planning, conceptual design, design development and preparation of construction plans, and details and specifications for landscape architecture projects.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an ASLA accredited program.

Registration (PLA) required; Florida preferred.
-
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the field of Landscape Architecture and Urban Design is required.
-
Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.
-
Effective communications skills.
-
Organized, innovative, and ambitious.

Graphic Design/Social Media Intern
Summer 2024
Location: Orlando, FL (up to 20 hours per week)
We are currently seeking a Graphic Design/Marketing student for our summer Get Inspired Internship in Orlando, FL.
Inspire is a creative, mission-based Placemaking firm dedicated to creating great places and spaces. We’re seeking a talented design/marketer to help elevate our social media presence and increase our following. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of both a Principal Creative Director and Several Project Managers in a team environment and will be responsible for video reels, social post creation and social planning. The intern will be responsible for the following items:

Assist with setting up proposals using InDesign templates
-
Create video reels, social posts, copy, graphics, and strategies
-
Generate campaign ideas and manage a social calendar
-
Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience
-
Develop new strategies for increasing engagement and recruitment
-
Assist with photo/video content shoots and coordination
-
Ensure brand message is consistent
What we're looking for: Students currently enrolled in an accredited Graphic Design/Marketing degree program who has the following qualifications:

Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Adobe Suite
(video software and motion graphics experience a plus) -
Copywriting experience and social campaign development

Keen editing eye and ability to track project progress

Understanding of the principles of Graphic Design

Effective and professional communications skills

Organized, innovative and ambitious

Excited to collaborate with talented staff from many different disciplines

Commitment to learning new skills, programs, and processes
